Support the GPNHP in our Mission to Rediscover and Preserve our Rich Neighborhood Histories
Become a Supporter by Making a Donation to the GPNHP!
Our mission, to rediscover our forgotten histories, document our living histories, and share our histories with others, is made possible through the generous support of our neighborhood communities.
Your generous support of $15 per person/$20 per household per year can help us accomplish these goals by allowing us to expand our ongoing research, as well as our outreach via meetings, presentations, publications, exhibits, neighborhood history walks, educational outreach, festivals, and other activities. It's easy! With your personal credit or debit card, or by logging into PayPal, you can make a one-time donation, or provide your ongoing monthly support. See the Credit Card and PayPal buttons below.
The GPNHP is a fiscally-sponsored affiliate with Independent Arts & Media, so your donation is tax-deductible. Independent Arts & Media is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Fiscal Sponsorship with Independent Arts & Media
Who is Independent Arts & Media?
Independent Arts & Media (IAM) is a unique and growing fiscal sponsor for artists, journalists, and media producers. The organization enables independent groups doing non-commercial work in the public interest to raise their own funding, and develop and present their work on their own terms. IAM currently supports over 60 affiliates in publishing, theater, dance, music, visual art, film and video, journalism, history, and public-events production.
What does fiscal sponsorship mean for the GPNHP?
Fiscal sponsorship is an alternative to starting a 501(3)(c) nonprofit. Through our affiliation with IAM, the Glen Park Neighborhoods History Project (GPNHP) is now able to receive federal tax-exempt status. We can now be the recipients of grants and tax-exempt donations from governments, foundations, and individuals. As the fiscal sponsor, IAM provides financial and programmatic oversight, as well as the tools and resources for us to function as a fiscally-sponsored nonprofit.
